Mystery Number Tag

Grade level: 2-6
Equipment: sticky notes, or pieces of paper
Game Description: This game is a mystery! Players don’t know who the catchers are. But they’ll soon find out. Try this game out for lots of laughs and lots of running! It’s another game that will not disappoint! (Thanks Chantal Dubois)

Grok’s Game

Grade level: K-8
Equipment: Various obstacles (mats, beams, hurdles), small objects (bean bags, balls, etc)
Game Description: Yes, this game was created by A.I…. a bit scary isn’t it? To be honest, it’s actually not a bad game idea which is why I decided to post it. This game could be played indoors or outdoors. The more creative the obstacle course, the better I’m sure! Don’t forget to subscribe to a real human being (that’s me) before A.I takes over my job. And yours…

Exploring Nazca Lines

Grade level: 4-8
Equipment: Projector
Game Description: Nazca Lines. Don’t know what they are? Look it up, they’re pretty cool. In this 6th game of the World Wonder series, groups (or the whole group) will try to make your own! Turn your gym into Peru and have some fun working together to communicate to complete some fun tasks while learning at the same time.

Fetch Frisbee

Grade level: 5-8
Equipment: Giant frisbee
Game Description: A very unique frisbee game, that uses a Monster Flying Disc (can be found at Flaghouse or other equipment suppliers). Thanks to David Bohlander for this idea.

Birds in a Nest

Grade level: K-4
Equipment: Hula hoops
Game Description: This is a great 3-part progression that has basically 3 games in 1. It’s one of my favourites especially with Kindergartens. Gets players moving around and communicating/strategizing in different ways.

Endzone Escape

Grade level: 4-8
Equipment: Cones, footballs, flags
Game Description: Try a few rounds of Endzone Escape to work on many football skills such as passing, punting, catching, and moving to specific spaces. Another fun game idea that passes the test of awesome games only (thanks Grant Johnson)!
