Team Memory

Grade level: K-8
Equipment: Beanbags, frisbees or bowls
Game Description: This game is a must play! Players work together both physically and mentally to collect their teams beanbags that are hidden beneath cover. It’s a memory game, so some sharp thinking is needed to be successful. It’s also a movement game, where speed can be advantageous.

  1. Create 4 teams and have each team line up relay-style.
  2. Across from the teams, place the same amount of 4 different colored bean bags on the floor (ex. 4 red, 4 purple, 4 yellow, 4 green). One color for each team.
  3. Cover the bean bags with frisbees. *It’s important that teams don’t see where the certain colors are covered, so have them close eyes or you can set-up beforehand*
  4. The goal of the game is to be the first team to find and bring back all of their color beanbags.
  5. On the signal, the first player from each team runs to a frisbee and looks under it.
  6. If under the frisbee is the beanbag of his teams color then he brings it back. If not, then he returns to line empty-handed.
  7. Next person in line goes, etc, etc until one team has found all of their beanbags.
  8. Set-up and play another round!
