Game Description: Here’s an amazing game idea from Deric Hafer. It’s a Capture the Flag-style modification with a gold rush theme. Classes can’t get enough of it and keep asking to play more – it’s non-stop action that gets everyone laughing and sweating! It’s a territory invasion game. Very exciting and dynamic for a strategic and energetic Physical Education class! You’d be a fool to not play this game. A fool’s gold, in fact (lame joke I know). But really, after almost 20 years of teaching PE it’s 100% for sure a top overall game.
Very similar to a game I also play outside. More space and great if you have larger class size. Can you have more than one player in the "bank" trying to take the gold?
Currently our Grade 5-6 students favourite game! Changed the rules so there was no jailer guarding, and it flowed a bit more freely
