Far Away

Grade level: K-4
Equipment: Special Object (ex. trophy, stuffy, Olympic torch)
Game Description: Far Away is a super easy and effective game to explore spatial awareness. Players will move around and try to be FAR AWAY from others, teaching safety in numbers and moving to open spaces. (Thanks James Barton for this game idea)

Spaceball

Grade level: 3-8
Equipment: Foam balls, hula hoops, mats, scooters
Game Description: Spaceball is a PE Games original game that combines 2 awesome classic dodgeball games into 1 new game, and also includes a space theme.

Mr Wolf Dice Roll

Grade level: K-3
Equipment: 1 Foam Dice
Game Description: Another Mr. Wolf type game (modification by Deric Hafer). Good for reaction time, running (or other movement skills) and following directions/commands. Use it in combination with the original or as a stand-alone game!

Massive Kickball Dodgeball

Grade level: 4-8
Equipment: 2 foam balls, exercise mats
Game Description: Great large group game (can use with up to 50 players). It’s a combination of kickball and dodgeball. As usual, lots of fun, lots of laughs, and lots of skills. A must try if you have a huge group and want to do something a bit different.

Fetch Frisbee

Grade level: 5-8
Equipment: Giant frisbee
Game Description: A very unique frisbee game, that uses a Monster Flying Disc (can be found at Flaghouse or other equipment suppliers). Thanks to David Bohlander for this idea.

Freedom Catch

Grade level: K-6
Equipment: Cones, foam balls
Game Description: New favourite activity! Tagging, throwing, catching, strategy all jam-packed into one awesome game from Jennifer Holub. Really fun, a must try, especially if you’re looking for a game for large groups (50 players +).

3 Ball

Grade level: 4-8
Equipment: 3 dodgeballs
Game Description: Here’s a new and really unique and fun dodgeball game idea from Steve Mercado (Game of the Year at his school, thanks Steve!). Very interesting strategies involved, awareness is key. Be the last player standing in 3 Ball.

Bounce Ball

Grade level: 2-8
Equipment: Exercise ball, laundry basket (or rubber bin), ball to throw
Game Description: Here’s a super easy throwing, catching, and reacting game. It can be done as a stand-alone activity, or part of a station. Or set-up a few of them and have teams go at it in a competition.
